Armed Bandits Abduct Wife and Son of Alhaji Abass in Ndeji Community, Lafiagi Emirate

Suspected armed bandits have reportedly stormed the Ndeji community in the Lafiagi Emirate of Edu Local Government Area, Kwara State, abducting the wife and son of Alhaji Abass, popularly known as Daniyan Saba.

According to local sources who reported to NupekoTv-Lafiagi, the gunmen invaded the community in the early hours of today, causing panic among residents before taking the victims to an unknown destination.

The incident has further heightened fears among residents, as cases of kidnapping and violent attacks continue to plague several communities within the Lafiagi Emirate and other parts of Kwara North.

As of the time of filing this report, security agencies have yet to release an official statement regarding the incident. Community members have called on the government and security operatives to intensify efforts to secure the area and ensure the safe return of the abducted victims.

Residents also urged authorities to take urgent action to address the growing insecurity threatening lives and livelihoods in the region.
