Three Kidnap Victims Rescued After Midnight Bandit Attack in Kwara Community
Three residents abducted during a midnight bandit attack in Chitta Community along Gada Woro Road have been rescued by local vigilantes after swift efforts to secure their release.
The attack occurred around 12:00 a.m. in Chitta Community in Patigi Local Government Area, when armed bandits invaded the area and kidnapped three individuals.
According to reports from TSOEDE TV, members of the local vigilante group quickly mobilized to confront the attackers. However, the vigilantes were initially overpowered by the heavily armed bandits.
Military personnel were immediately contacted and responded promptly to the distress call. Unfortunately, by the time they arrived at the community, the bandits had already fled with the victims to an unknown destination.
In a later development, local vigilante operatives intensified their efforts and successfully rescued the three kidnapped victims.
Residents of the community have expressed gratitude over the safe rescue, offering prayers for continued protection and improved security across communities in Patigi and the wider Kwara State.
