Faces of Three Suleja, Niger State Men Charged Over the Abduction of Oyo Schoolchildren and Teachers

The Federal Government has arraigned three men from Suleja, Niger State, over their alleged involvement in the abduction of schoolchildren and teachers in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.



The suspects, identified as Abdulrazak Umar (also known as Abu Khalifa), Yunusa Musa and Shamsu Adamu Sani, were charged before a Federal High Court in Abuja on a 10-count charge bordering on terrorism, kidnapping, concealment of information, incitement and illegal mining.

According to court documents, the defendants are accused of playing roles linked to the network behind the school abduction that drew nationwide attention and raised concerns about the safety of schools across the country.

The Federal Government recently announced the rescue of the abducted pupils and teachers following security operations.
