Bandits Attack Chekugi Community in Kwara State, Kill Resident, Abduct Family

Fear and tension have gripped Chekugi community, under the Lafiagi Emirate in Edu Local Government Area, following a deadly midnight attack by suspected bandits.

According to sources who spoke with NUPEKOTV, the assailants stormed the community at about 2:00 a.m. and invaded the residence of a man identified as Yellow Kabari. He was reportedly killed during the attack, while members of his family were abducted and taken to an unknown destination.
