Kwara APC Primaries: AA NDAKENE Media Team Calls for Discipline and Unity

The AA Ndakene Media Team appreciates the steadfastness of supporters of Hon. Ahmed Abubakar Ndakene, aspirant for the House of Representatives (Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal Constituency). We commend our supporters for remaining calm, refraining from spreading misinformation, and exercising restraint by not taking action against the party during the tense primary period.

However, the recent All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries in Kwara State have raised serious concerns. Reports indicate that supporters of some aspirants attempted to manipulate the process by deploying different result sheets to declare their preferred candidates as winners. Even more troubling, certain candidates allegedly staged political theatrics by rushing to issue congratulatory messages without any official endorsement from the party leadership.

Such actions, according to the team, are embarrassing to a great party like the APC and seriously undermine internal democracy. Parallel declarations, they warn, create unnecessary confusion, erode public trust, and weaken the unity that has long been the APC’s greatest strength.

The AA Ndakene Media Team therefore calls on the APC national leadership to break its silence and decisively address these irregularities. We also urge the number one leader of Kwara State, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum, to intervene swiftly, calm tensions, and ensure that party rules and due process are respected.
