Osun Governorship Election: 97.74% Results Uploaded as INEC Dashboard Shows 3,678 of 3,763 Results Submitted

The results collation process for the 2026 Osun State governorship election has reached an advanced stage, with 3,678 out of the expected 3,763 results uploaded as of the morning of Sunday, August 16, 2026.

Data displayed on the election results dashboard showed that 97.74 per cent of the expected results had been uploaded, leaving only 85 results yet to be submitted.

The dashboard indicated that the latest upload was recorded at 6:24:33 a.m. on August 16, 2026, with the polling unit identified as PU: 29/18/11/005.

The development suggests that the electronic transmission and uploading of polling unit results are nearing completion as stakeholders await the final collation and declaration of the winner of the governorship election.

The Osun governorship election was held on August 15, 2026, with voters across the state's 30 local government areas casting their ballots to elect the next governor.

The final outcome will be determined after the remaining results are uploaded, collated and formally announced by the electoral authorities.
