Second Bandit Attack in 24 Hours: 2 Kidnapped in Same Kwara LGA

Bandits have reportedly struck Wodata Rumallan, also known as Gidan Panu, in Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State again, with two people reportedly kidnapped in the fresh attack.

A community leader who spoke to NupekoTV correspondent Idris Mohammed Shaaba confirmed the incident and said the victims are a child, Rukayat, and her stepmother, Hazare, who have reportedly been missing since the attack.

According to the source, the bandits shot sporadically during the attack, causing panic in the community. The source added that soldiers arrived at the community about an hour later.

The incident comes less than 24 hours after NupekoTV reported another bandit attack in the same Edu Local Government Area, making this the second reported attack in the area within 24 hours.
