“Watery Leaders”, Davido Accuses AbdulRazaq of Bringing Insecurity to Kwarans via Villa Access

Afrobeats star Davido has launched a blistering attack on Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, branding him among “watery leaders” and linking his access to the Presidential Villa directly to the insecurity ravaging the state.

In a post on X today, Davido quoted a video of the governor at an APC mega rally where AbdulRazaq declared:

“There is a need to have a governor that can go to Aso Rock and bring goodies to Osun State… You need a governor that has access to the President.”

Davido’s sharp reply:

“Your accessibility to the villa brought nothing but insecurity to Kwarans … these so called leaders are watery …”

The post is already trending, sparking heated reactions as residents of Kwara North and South continue to grapple with bandit attacks, kidnappings, and killings.

While Governor AbdulRazaq has repeatedly insisted security remains a top priority of his administration, critics say the situation on the ground tells a different story.

As of the time of filing this report, the Kwara State Government has not responded to Davido’s comments.
