They were arrested in Maiduguri, Borno State, following the alleged incident around West End Roundabout on September 25, 2026.
According to the FIR issued by the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Maiduguri, the incident occurred at about 11:00 a.m.
The police alleged that the five men conspired to print and wear T-shirts bearing the inscription “Tinubu Must Go,” accusing them of conduct capable of causing a breach of public peace.
