Kwara 2027: ASKOMP Sets November 6 for Governorship Manifesto Discourse

The Association of Kwara Online Media Practitioners (ASKOMP) has announced Friday, November 6, 2026 for its Manifesto Discourse for the governorship candidates and leadership of political parties ahead of Kwara 2027 governorship election.

ASKOMP Chairman/Publisher of TheInformant247, Salihu Shola Taofeek and 9japarrot Publisher/Planning Committee Secretary, Saeed Tijjani made the announcement in a statement issued on Wednesday in Ilorin, the State Capital.

According to the statement, the Manifesto Discourse organised by the Association of Kwara Online Media Practitioners(ASKOMP) will hold in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital on November 6, 2026.

The Association urged the Governorship Candidates and leaders of different political parties to avail themselves on the platform to engage the public and present their visions for Kwara State ahead of the 2027 general elections.

ASKOMP emphasized that the Manifesto Discourse aims to foster issue-based governance and promote constructive political dialogue among key political figures, political parties, and the electorate across the state.

According to the leadership of the association, the interactive session will provide candidates with an equal opportunity to articulate their policy blueprints, economic strategies, and developmental plans directly to Kwara citizens.

The association further called on civil society organizations, political stakeholders, media partners and the general public to participate actively in making the event a resounding success for the state's democratic process.
