Special prayer invitation from Efu Etsu Usman Sarki, Bida for Farmer Governor Umaru Bago

Efu Etsu Usman Sarki, Bida, has invited members of the public to a special prayer session organised for the Executive Governor of Niger State, Farmer Governor Umaru Muhammad Bago.

The prayer session, scheduled for Sunday, October 4, 2026, is expected to focus on seeking divine guidance, protection and wisdom for Governor Bago as he continues to lead the state. The organisers described the gathering as an opportunity for members of the community and the general public to come together in prayer for the governor and the state.

The session will also include prayers for the repose of the souls of the 37 miners who lost their lives in Minna. The miners reportedly died following their detention after being arrested in connection with illegal mining activities, with the incident generating concern over the circumstances surrounding their deaths.

In addition, prayers will be offered for peace, unity and progress in Nigeria as the country marks its 66th Independence Anniversary. The organisers said the session is intended to bring people together in prayers for the country, its leaders and the wellbeing of its citizens.

The special prayer session will take place at Shanba Mahmud Mosque, Efu Etsu Usman Sarki, Bida, at 9:00am prompt. Members of the public are invited to attend and join the prayers, with the organisers expressing appreciation for their presence and support.
