The Omar Bolaji Gambari Foundation has announced plans to empower 100 youths across the 16 Local Government Areas of Kwara State through a comprehensive digital skills acquisition programme aimed at preparing young people for opportunities in the modern digital economy.


The Founder of the Foundation, Hon. Omaru Bolaji Gambari, who is also a gubernatorial aspirant in Kwara State under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), disclosed that the initiative is part of his commitment to youth empowerment, innovation, and sustainable development across the state.


According to the Foundation, the programme will provide selected participants with practical digital training designed to equip them with relevant technology and online-based skills that can improve their employability and entrepreneurial capacity in today’s fast-growing digital world.


The training programme, is expected to commence within the next few weeks, allowing beneficiaries from different parts of the state to conveniently participate.


Speaking on the initiative, the Foundation emphasized that the programme is designed to create opportunities for young people, promote digital inclusion, and prepare Kwara youths to compete in the global digital space.


Interested members of the public, particularly youths across the 16 Local Government Areas of Kwara State, are therefore encouraged to apply through the designated Google Form, which will serve as the official registration portal for the programme.
