EID-EL-FITRI: LADDU President Calls for Unity, Hope Amid Challenges in Lafiagi Emirate

The National President of the Lafiagi Descendants Development Union (LADDU), Dr. Mohammed Jibril Abdullahi (Amana Lafiagi), has extended warm Eid-el-Fitri greetings to the people of Lafiagi Emirate, urging unity, resilience, and renewed hope despite prevailing challenges.

In a goodwill message marking the 2026 Eid celebration, Dr. Abdullahi congratulated families, households, and communities across the Emirate, praying for peace, joy, and abundant blessings.

He paid special tribute to the Emir of Lafiagi, Alhaji Mohammed Kudu Kawu, and other traditional leaders, commending their steadfast leadership, wisdom, and dedication in guiding the people through difficult times.

Reflecting on the significance of Eid-el-Fitri, the LADDU President described the season as a time of deep reflection, emphasizing the enduring strength, courage, and unity that define the people of Lafiagi Emirate.

He, however, acknowledged the painful impact of insecurity in the region, noting that many families have suffered significant losses. He assured affected communities that LADDU stands in solidarity with them, sharing in their grief while advocating hope and recovery.

Dr. Abdullahi also saluted the efforts of security agencies for their courage and sacrifices in safeguarding lives, while calling on youths to remain steadfast and optimistic about the future.

Expressing confidence in brighter days ahead, he stressed that the Emirate would overcome its current challenges and emerge stronger, more united, and more prosperous.

“LADDU feels your pain. LADDU shares your grief. But above all, LADDU stands firmly on hope,” he stated.

He concluded by reaffirming that the present difficulties would not break the collective spirit of the people, declaring that unity and determination would pave the way for lasting peace and development in Lafiagi Emirate.
