Mallam Omar Bolaji Gambari, a gubernatorial aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State, has extended warm Eid al-Fitr greetings to Muslims across the state, calling for unity, peace, and collective commitment to addressing insecurity.

In a statement issued to mark the celebration, OBG said Eid al-Fitr symbolizes sacrifice, devotion, and a renewed sense of responsibility toward building a just and prosperous society. He urged residents to embrace the values of compassion, unity, and service to humanity.

The PDP gubernatorial aspirant expressed concern over the security challenges affecting parts of the state and the country, offering prayers for lasting peace and stability.

“At this critical time, I pray that Almighty Allah grants our state and nation lasting peace and brings a decisive end to all forms of insecurity affecting our communities. May our homes, farmlands, roads, and markets be safe again,” he said.

OBG emphasized that the current moment requires collective action and responsible leadership to restore confidence among citizens and ensure sustainable development.

He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting policies and initiatives that would strengthen security, empower youths, and promote inclusive growth across Kwara State.

OBG also called on residents to remain peaceful, hopeful, and actively engaged in shaping the future of the state, stressing that unity and shared vision are essential for progress.

He concluded by praying that Almighty Allah accepts the acts of worship of the Muslim faithful and grants continued peace, progress, and prosperity to Kwara State and Nigeria at large.
