 2027: LEYTA Advocates for Justice and Equity; Calls for Unified Kwara North Front

Lafiagi Emirate Youth Transparent Association (LEYTA), a leading apolitical organization dedicated to the progress and socio-economic development of Lafiagi, Kwara North, and Kwara State at large, officially issues a clarion call for political justice, equity, and regional inclusion regarding the 2027 Kwara State Gubernatorial race.

Since the dawn of the Fourth Republic in 1999, Kwara North has remained a steadfast partner in the growth of our dear state. However, in the spirit of fairness and "Live and Let Live," the association notes that the governorship has predominantly rotated between Kwara Central and Kwara South.

For the sake of statewide harmony and balanced development, LEYTA asserts that 2027 is the opportune and rightful time for Kwara North to lead.

To the sons and daughters of Kwara North aspiring for the highest office in the state, LEYTA offers a strategic counsel: Strength lies in unity. We urge all governorship aspirants from our region to prioritize the collective interest over individual ambitions.

We call for a consensus-building process where aspirants unite to endorse a single, formidable candidate.

LEYTA respectfully extends this plea to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the leadership of all major political parties, and critical kingmakers within and outside the state.

We believe that a Governor from the North will bring a fresh perspective to the challenges of our region, from infrastructure to agriculture, while steering the entire state toward a prosperous future.
