The lawmaker Representing Kwara Central Senatorial District in the 9th Senate, Sen. (Dr.) Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe has officially declared his intention to run for Governor of Kwara State in 2027, emphasising that leadership must be judged by impact on people rather than promises.
The declaration event held on Thursday in Ilorin was attended by party stalwarts, stakeholders, and a diverse audience from across Kwara State, and was marked by a strong focus on his record of service and connection with the people.
In his address, Oloriegbe stated that governance must move beyond speeches to structured systems and measurable outcomes, noting that the future of the state depends on leadership that delivers tangible results.
He unveiled his policy document as a pact with Kwarans, outlining his vision for improved security, economic opportunity, an advanced agricultural system, improved healthcare access, and inclusive human capital development.
