Kwara Governor Visits Injured Soldiers, Donates ₦60m to Families of Fallen Heroes
Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has visited soldiers injured in a recent counter-banditry operation, assuring them of government support and quality medical care.
The Governor made the visit to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, where he praised the courage and sacrifice of the security personnel in defending the nation.
He announced a donation of ₦60 million to the families of three soldiers who lost their lives, alongside ₦5 million each for the injured soldiers to aid their recovery.
AbdulRazaq reiterated his administration’s commitment to supporting security agencies in combating banditry and maintaining peace across the state.
In addition, the Governor extended financial assistance to another patient, Ms. Kehinde, to support her ongoing treatment.
