Patigi Local Government Area is currently facing a deepening security crisis as a series of coordinated attacks have left several communities deserted and residents living in fear.

Communities such as Kakafu, Mari, Dinna, and Emi-Kpangi have been significantly affected, with many residents reportedly fleeing their homes to avoid further violence.

Recent incidents underscore the severity of the situation:

Dinna: Four persons killed and 15 abducted.

Kakafu: Five persons abducted.

Ndanaku: Two individuals abducted along the road.

Gadaworo: One person abducted.

Lata NNA: One person killed.

Residents describe a worsening security environment that has disrupted daily activities, particularly farming and local commerce, thereby threatening livelihoods and food security in the area.

Community members have called on relevant authorities and security agencies to take urgent and decisive measures to address the escalating violence and ensure the safety of lives and property across the affected communities.
