Patigi Local Government Area is currently facing a deepening security crisis as a series of coordinated attacks have left several communities deserted and residents living in fear.
Communities such as Kakafu, Mari, Dinna, and Emi-Kpangi have been significantly affected, with many residents reportedly fleeing their homes to avoid further violence.
Recent incidents underscore the severity of the situation:
Dinna: Four persons killed and 15 abducted.
Kakafu: Five persons abducted.
Ndanaku: Two individuals abducted along the road.
Gadaworo: One person abducted.
Lata NNA: One person killed.
Residents describe a worsening security environment that has disrupted daily activities, particularly farming and local commerce, thereby threatening livelihoods and food security in the area.
