NACCIMA delegates make impressive representation of Nigeria at 139th Canton Fair in China

Delegates of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) participated in the 139th Canton Fair in Guangzhou, the People's Republic of China, making an impressive representation of Nigeria and, by extension, Africa at the globally renowned business gathering.

The Canton Fair, acclaimed to be one of the largest trade missions in the world, runs three phases per session. The 139th session commenced on April 15, and has now entered the third phase, which started May 1st.

The leadership of NACCIMA present at the venue of the Canton Fair included the National President, Engr. Jani Ibrahim, mni, OON; China Relations Executive, Arc. Zakirudeen Oladotun; Member, China Executive Trade Group, Alhaji Goni Dunoma; National Public Relations Officer, Mrs Madinat Adigun-Oladotun; and Special Adviser to the National President, Mr. Sulaiman Adoga.

NACCIMA's participation at the third phase follows the successful conclusion of the Business and Investment Forum, industrial tours, and other key programmes undertaken by the association in the past few days.

Several delegations from different countries of the world are partaking in the Canton Fair, where trade activities are ongoing and strategic partnerships are being forged.

It is recalled that NACCIMA delegates participated in the last (138th) session. The consistent participations demonstrate NACCIMA's unwavering commitment to international partnerships, trade promotion and knowledge exchange for the development of Nigeria.

Delegates were conducted round various pavilions at the Canton Fair, witnessing firsthand new technologies and products, emerging developments, and valuable insights that can be leveraged by the private sector to grow Nigeria's economy and support the vision of a $1 trillion dollar economy under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
