AAC Governorship Candidate Challenges Rivals to Public Debate Ahead of 2027 Kwara Election

The governorship candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in Kwara State, Comrade Musa Tsaragi, has called on his counterparts from other political parties to participate in a public debate on key issues affecting the state ahead of the 2027 gubernatorial election.

Tsaragi specifically challenged candidates of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), including Rt. Hon. Yakubu Danladi Salihu and Engr. Bolakale Kawu, to engage in an open forum where they can present their ideas and policy direction to the electorate.

Speaking during a radio programme in Ilorin on Monday, the AAC candidate emphasized the need for a transparent and issue-based political process, noting that Kwara State is facing critical challenges that require informed and competent leadership.

He stated that a public debate would provide a platform for voters to assess the vision, preparedness, and capacity of each candidate, thereby promoting accountability and strengthening democratic participation.

Tsaragi added that such engagement would enable citizens to make well-informed decisions, while encouraging political actors to focus on solutions to governance, security, and development challenges confronting the state.
