Veteran Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has died at 66 after battling stage-four cancer.
His daughter Kira Taiwo confirmed his death during an emotional live session on Sunday, August 23, 2026. The announcement came just days after she and her sister Lima appealed for urgent medical assistance for their father, whose condition had deteriorated.
The family had said they were seeking medical intervention rather than financial donations. Reports also indicated that Ogogo had been admitted for treatment as doctors intensified efforts to manage his stage-four cancer.
