Omar Bolaji Gambari Welcomes Release of Abducted Woro Victims, Commends Security Agencies
The Kwara State PDP governorship aspirant, Omar Bolaji Gambari, has expressed relief over the reported release of abducted residents of Woro community in Kaiama Local Government Area of the state.
Gambari described the development as “heartwarming news,” saying the safe return of the victims is a moment of joy for the people of Kwara State and all well-meaning citizens.
In a statement obtained by Just EventOnlineTV, the governorship aspirant commended the security agencies for their bravery and persistence in efforts to combat insecurity and secure the release of the abducted victims.
He also acknowledged individuals and groups who consistently advocated for the safe return of the victims, stressing that every sincere effort aimed at protecting lives and securing the release of those in captivity deserves recognition.
While celebrating the development, Gambari urged security agencies not to relent in their operations, calling for sustained and intensified efforts to ensure that communities across the state remain safe.
He further appealed to residents to remain vigilant and cooperate with security agencies by promptly reporting suspicious movements and activities in their communities.
“Together, we can deny criminal elements the space to operate and continue building a safer Kwara for all,” he said.
