Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin Opens Wide Recruitment Drive for Academic and Non-Academic Staff

Nigeria's first Islamic faith-based university is hiring across almost every faculty, from Agriculture and Law to Computing and Health Sciences, with fresh vacancies also opening in its medical laboratory department.

Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin has advertised a broad round of academic and non-academic vacancies, inviting applications from suitably qualified Nigerians for positions cutting across ten faculties, the University Library and the College of Health Sciences. Every academic post is pegged to a specific qualification tier, and the university says computer literacy applies across all of them.

Senior LecturerAHUASS 05

A recognized authority in the field, holding a Ph.D. from a reputable university, with evidence of scholarly publications in reputable local, national and international journals, relevant professional body membership where applicable, and at least three years of full-time university teaching, research and administrative experience. Physiology and Medical Biochemistry posts additionally require an MB;BS.

Lecturer IAHUASS 04

A recognized authority in the field with a Ph.D. from a reputable university and evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals, plus relevant professional body membership where applicable.

Lecturer IIAHUASS 03

A Ph.D. in the relevant field, or a Master's degree together with at least four relevant publications.

Assistant LecturerAHUASS 02

A minimum of a Master's degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.

Conditions of service are comparable to what is obtainable in public universities in Nigeria, the university said in its advertisement.
