GSS Lafiagi Emerges Champion at 2026 KWIRS Tax Club Quiz Competition

Government Secondary School (GSS), Lafiagi, has emerged winner of the 2026 Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KWIRS) Tax Club Quiz Competition after an impressive performance in the final round.

The school secured the first position with 20 points, defeating five other participating schools to claim the championship title and bring pride to the Lafiagi Emirate.

Saint Anthony Secondary School, Ilorin, finished in second position with 16 points, while Ebenezer High School, Ilorin, came third with 14 points.

Other participating schools included Ansar-U-Islam College, Oke-A, which secured fourth position with 12 points; Government Secondary School, Ajesha-Saruba, which came fifth with 10 points; and Oro Grammar School, Oro, which finished sixth with six points.

The victory represents a remarkable achievement for GSS Lafiagi, highlighting the importance of patience, determination and resilience in the pursuit of success.

From previous third and second-place finishes to clinching the first position, the school's achievement demonstrates that consistency and perseverance eventually yield positive results.
