Edu LG to Face Isin LG in Kwara Sports Festival Football Semi Final

The Edu LG football team will face the Isin LG football team in the semi final of the football event at the 8th edition of the Kwara State Sports Festival.

The highly anticipated encounter is scheduled for Friday, August 28, 2026 at the Kwara Football Academy, Ilorin, Pitch B. Kick off time is 10:00am.

The Edu Local Government Area Sports Coordinator, Jibril Qudus Muhammed, disclosed the details in a conversation with a NupekoTV correspondent.

He also expressed appreciation to the Executive Chairman of Edu Local Government Area, Hon. Abdullahi Bello Ndamangoro, for his continued support and encouragement to the team throughout the competition.

Jibril further acknowledged the support of NupekoTV and other individuals and organisations that have contributed to the team's participation and success at the sports festival.

He called on supporters of Edu LG to come out in large numbers to cheer the team as they battle Isin LG for a place in the final.

The match is expected to attract football enthusiasts and supporters from across the state as both teams seek to advance to the final of the competition.
