Reports indicate that some protesters took to the streets and blocked roads, while tyres were reportedly set ablaze during the demonstrations. 

Security personnel were deployed to the affected areas as authorities moved to restore order.

The prolonged power outage has also renewed concerns about the reliability of electricity supply in the country, with residents demanding urgent action from the relevant authorities to address the situation.
