Thanksgiving Prayer Scheduled as Etsu Nupe Honours Senator Saliu Mustapha with Traditional Title

The Nupe in Ilorin Progressives Union (NIPU) has announced a Special Thanksgiving Prayer in honour of the conferment of the prestigious traditional title Tabariki 'n' Nupe on its Grand Patron, Distinguished Senator Saliu Mustapha.

In a public notice issued by the union, NIPU expressed deep appreciation to His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr) Yahaya Abubakar, CFR, the Etsu Nupe and Chairman of the Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, for the recognition bestowed on the senator.

The thanksgiving prayer is scheduled to hold on Sunday, 26th April 2026, at Alfa Nda Karuma Central Mosque, Sooro II, Ilorin, Kwara State.

The union also prayed for the continued good health, long life, and wisdom of the Etsu Nupe in leading the affairs of the Nupe Kingdom.
